When I was a teenager, I could sit on the phone with my BFF for hours. Now I hate the phone. Surely this is partly a new version of same old-same old. And I'm in better shape now than I was as a teenager because as I got older I began to understand that fitness matters.

I love online networking. Because I work alone, it benefits my daily social life. I don't feel isolated even on days I don't get out of my home office. It's just different bandwidths of connection: face to face, telephone, online. As long as online doesn't replace FTF, it's allgood. IMO.
